Who needs a Health and Wellness Coach???
The person who is a great candidate for Wellness Coaching is the person who is choosing to make lifestyle and diet changes to reach a specific goal, or has been told by their doctor that they need to change “or else.”
The dreaded consequences of not exercising, stretching, resting, and eating “healthy” foods are not something that we think about. They build up over time and then all of the sudden we have a disease or other problem that now requires major medical care.
What we don’t realize is that the general aches and pains, headaches, foggy brain, fatigue, restlessness, and many other things that don’t make us run to the doctor are THE SIGNALS the body is giving us that something isn’t working and the body is stressed trying to bring balance to how it works.
Learning these signals and what they mean is a first step in healing our bodies so we decrease our chances of having to run to the doctor. Working with a Wellness Coach, you can learn how to find the right resources, take ownership of your lifestyle and overall health, and create the strategies that work best for you to maintain the level of health that you desire.
Coaching can be done in a variety of ways. Emily is available to live stream calls via the internet or simply coach over the phone. You can choose 30 min or 60 min sessions as often as you want.
To get the most out of your coach, it’s important to set up an initial interview and make sure she’s the right fit for you. Then create a contract to understand the expectations of you and your coach, including your goals and budget for this level of support.
