Yoga Nidra with Meredith

Join Meredith as she weaves you into a deep restorative rest. Yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep or conscious sleep, is an ancient practice that will lead you into a relaxed, deep meditative state. In our current world of overdrive and overstimulation, yoga nidra is an open invitation to breathe, rest, and release tension and anxiety. Each class begins with gentle movement followed by extended savasana. During this time, you will be led through various techniques, such as guided imagery and body scanning, to lead you to a deeper sense of self. Yoga nidra is a powerful restorative practice that will aid in quieting the mind and leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Students are invited to wear comfortable, loose clothing and bring any props that would aid in comfort. A small cushion for under the head and eye pillow can be a nice addition to your practice.

Please arrive 10 minutes before class starts. Students more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed to join the class out of consideration to others.

This is a donation-based course

Walk-ins are welcome, you don’t need to be “on time”. Join us when you get here and enjoy talking with other families and learning more about the challenges you may be facing. This is for community and an opportunity to learn from each other.
